23-A-095 1  Awards and RecognitionGLOBAL PERSPECTIVE PROGRAM - STUDENT DELEGATION WITH ZWEIBRUCKEN, GERMANY Mayor Nuttall, on behalf of members of Council welcomed the German student delegation from Zweibrucken, Germany to the City of Barrie. Jeff Toole, Teacher and Program Coordinator for the Global Perspective Program, discussed the history, activities and work being undertaken by the program and the past and future initiatives and visits of the groups. He acknowledged the support from the program proponents and that it would not be a success without them. Mr. Toole advised that the participants from the Global Perspective Program and the delegates from Zweibrucken, Germany, were in the audience. Students who participated in the German exchange discussed their experiences in Zweibrucken, Germany. They discussed the learning experiences and knowledge they gained from the exchange and the memories to last a lifetime.
