The Committee met and discussed the anticipated expenditures for the 2017 International Relations Committee Budget. D. Morrison, Chair asked each of the sub-committee representatives to provide an update about upcoming expenditures anticipated for 2017.
The Committee approved the expenditure of funds from the 2016 International Relations Committee account 01-06-0935-0000-3091 to be paid to Janice Laking in the amount of $327.14 for the purchase of gifts to be used for future exchange purposes.

The Committee met and discussed the status of the Youth Ambassadors visits as follows:
Murayama, Japan
J. Gulley, 2016 Youth Ambassador Leader provided an update regarding the youth delegation who visited Murayama, Japan during August, 2016. Mr. Gulley commented that the youth delegation are currently making presentations to schools in the City of Barrie regarding the youth ambassador program and their experience traveling to Murayama, Japan.
The Committee approved the expenditure of funds from the International Relations Committee account 01-06-0935-0000-3095 in the amount of $508.50 for one-way transportation costs associated with the youth delegation who traveled to Murayama, Japan from August 16, 2016 to August 30, 2016. | Received | |
