D. McAlpine, Director of Legislative and Court Services/City Clerk and W. Cooke, Deputy City Clerk provided an update regarding the 2018 Municipal Election. Ms. McAlpine discussed the accessibility measures used in the 2014 Municipal Election.
Ms. McAlpine asked the Committee to provide suggestions for improvements for the 2018 Municipal Election process as it relates to accessibility.

G. Diamantopoulos, Facility Capital Supervisor provided a presentation regarding the future plans for Memorial Square/Meridian Place.
He discussed slides concerning the following topics:
· An outline of the Memorial Square/Meridian Place project;
· An outline of the design of Memorial Square/Merdian Place from Council’s direction;
· The partnership and collaboration and the project delivery;
· The timelines associated with the reconstruction of Memorial Square/Meridian Place;
· An outline of the budget amounts associated with the project;
· An aerial view of Memorial Square/Meridian Place;
· A rendering of the Cenotaph at Memorial Square/Meridian Place;
· Conceptual drawings of future plans of Memorial Square/Meridian Place project; and
· The next steps in the project.
In closing, Mr. Diamantopoulos commented that plans for the project have not been finalized and that he was looking for the Committee to provide their feedback on accessibility as it relates to the project.
