COMMEMORATION PLAN - PRINCE OF WALES SCHOOL REMNANTS
Vanessa Hicks of MHBC Planning Inc and Joel Doherty of HIP Developments provided an overview of the concept plans for the commemoration of Prince of Wales School located at 50 Bradford Street. Ms. Hicks commented on the structural conditions, safety concerns and site lines related to the remains of the former Prince of Wales Public School located on the subject lands.
The Committee discussed the commemoration plan for Prince of Wales Public School and provided their feedback to Ms. Hicks, Mr. Doherty and staff in Development Services concerning the historical site, including requesting alternative options for the site location. Vanessa Hicks, MHBC Planning and Joel Doherty, HIP Developments will report back at a future Committee meeting on alternative options for commemorating Prince of Wales Public School.
