PRESENTATION CONCERNING THE CITY OF BARRIE’S ALTERNATIVE FUEL STUDY
Mara Bullock, Project Manager from WSP Canada provided a presentation concerning the results City of Barrie’s Corporate Fleet and Transit Alternative Fuel Study. She provided an introduction of her colleague Anaissa Franco from WSP Canada.
Ms. Bullock discussed slides concerning the following topics:
• A background of the Corporate Fleet and Transit Alternative Study; and
• The keys steps and objectives of the Alternative Fuel Study.
• The Transit Fleet Alternative Fuel Study:
o Technology assessment related to Transit Operations;
o BOLT Inputs versus Battery Electric;
o Phased Conversion Scenario approach to Conventional Transit;
o Cost analysis related to alternative fuel for transit; and
o The next steps for Transit.
• The Corporate Fleet Alternative Fuel Study:
o Technology assessment associated with Corporate Fleet;
o Phased Conversion for Corporate Fleet between 2021 and 2041;
o Cost analysis between 2021 to 2041 for four facilities associated with Scenario 3; and
o The next steps for Corporate Fleet.
