STATUS OF POTENTIAL LISTINGS FOR THE MUNICIPAL HERITAGE REGISTER:

 

                     94 CLAPPERTON STREET

 

J. Rabinovitch, the joint property owner of 94 Clapperton Street, provided a brief historical overview of the residential property.  Mr. Rabinovitch reviewed the heritage attributes of 94 Clapperton Street including:  its Edwardian architectural style, original hardwood flooring and stained glass windows.

 

The Committee asked questions regarding the information provided and received responses from the property owners.

 

The Committee recommended adding 94 Clapperton Street to the Municipal Heritage Register as a listed property.

 

                     7 BURTON AVENUE - LOYAL ORDER OF ORANGE LODGE 432

 

C. Froese advised that he would deliver the Municipal Heritage Register Application on behalf of the Heritage Barrie Committee to the Loyal Order of Orange Lodge 432 located at 7 Burton Avenue.

 

                     37 BURTON AVENUE - BURTON AVENUE UNITED CHURCH

 

C. Colebatch confirmed that the Chair of the Burton Avenue United Church located at 37 Burton Avenue has received the Municipal Heritage Register Application.

 

                     112 COLLIER STREET - COLLIER STREET UNITED CHURCH

 

T. Wierzba, Planner confirmed that Collier Street United Church located at 112 Collier Street has received the Municipal Heritage Register Application.

 

                     8 ESSA ROAD

 

The Committee requested that the Municipal Heritage Register Application be resent to the property owner of 8 Essa Road.

 

                     126 LETITIA STREET

 

The Committee requested that the Municipal Heritage Register Application be sent to the property owner of 126 Letitia Street.  C. Froese offered to follow up with the property owner(s) on the status of the application.

 

                     92 MARY STREET

 

T. Wierzba, Planner confirmed that the property owner at 92 Mary Street has received the Municipal Heritage Register Application.  C. Manewell offered to follow up with the property owner on the status of the application.

 

                     PROPERTIES IN THE TOLLENDAL MILL ROAD NEIGHBOURHOOD

 

T. Wierzba, Planner advised that he had been contacted by a resident who suggested that the following properties be considered for addition to the Municipal Heritage Register:  359 Cox Mill Road, 298 Tollendal Mill Road, 311 Tollendal Mill Road.  C. Colebatch confirmed that she delivered the Municipal Heritage Register Application on behalf of the Heritage Barrie Committee to the property owner(s) of 359 Cox Mill Road.   C. Froese advised that he would deliver the Municipal Heritage Register Application on behalf of the Heritage Barrie Committee to the property owners of 298 Tollendal Mill Road and 311 Tollendal Mill Road. 

 

The Committee suggested that the following properties in the Tollendal Mill Road neighbourhood also be considered for addition to the Municipal Heritage Register:  1 Royal Oak Drive, 364 Tollendal Mill Road and 3 Peel Street.  C. Froese advised that he would deliver the Municipal Heritage Register Application on behalf of the Heritage Barrie Committee to the property owners of 1 Royal Oak Drive and 364 Tollendal Mill Road.  The Committee requested that the Municipal Heritage Register Application be sent to the property owner(s) of 3 Peel Street.
