That motion 24-G-111 of Section “C” of the General Committee Report dated May 8, 2024, concerning the Waterfront (Allandale Station Park) Multi-Use Sports Field and Sea Cadets Parade Ground be deferred until further public consultation can be undertaken at a cost of up to $5,000 to be funded from the Reinvestment Reserve.

That motion 24-G-111 of Section “C” of the General Committee Report dated May 8, 2024 concerning the Waterfront (Allandale Station Park) Multi-Use Sports Field and Sea Cadets Parade Ground be amended by adding the following to paragraph 1:

 

“to ensure that the field meets the minimum size requirements to accommodate the sports identified and to minimize impacts to the surrounding environment, including tree removals.”

 

CARRIED

 

Upon question of the original motion moved by Deputy Mayor, R. Thomson and seconded by Councillor, AM Kungl, the motion was CARRIED AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENTS #1 and 3.
