Title: HIGHLAND AVENUE RODNEY STREET - MOUNBATTEN ROAD - MOUNTBATTEN CRESCENT PROJECT Mr. Peter Koetsier, 51 Highland Avenue provided a presentation regarding the proposed Highland Avenue Rodney Street - Mountbatten Road - Mountbatten Crescent Sidewalk Construction Project. Mr. Koetsier indicated that he understands the City's initiative to encourage Active Transportation within the City. However, he noted concerns with respect to installing a sidewalk on Highland Avenue as he feels that a sidewalk is not required. He observed that there are many streets that are far busier than Highland Avenue that do not have sidewalks. Mr. Koetsier commented that he has a concern with the new proposed Infill Sidewalk Policy as he feels the policy is too broad in that a sidewalk could be installed anywhere, anytime regardless of the need. Councillor Morales declared a potential pecuniary interest in the foregoing matter as he resides in the area of Mountbatten Crescent.  He rolled his chair back from the Council Table and he did not participate in the discussion.
