Title: RESULTS OF THE 2019 COMMUNITIES IN BLOOM PROGRAM M. Boyd, Parks Horticulture Foreperson informed the Committee of the results from the Communities in Bloom (CIB) Awards night that she attended in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She advised that the City received 5 Blooms Silver in the Large International Category, a close second of just 1.5 marks behind Coquitlam, British Columbia who also received 5 Blooms Silver. Ms. Boyd noted that Judges Alex Pearl and John Lohuis mentioned that the City has a very dedicated team and are leaders in so many areas. Ms. Boyd provided a copy of the 2019 Judges' Evaluation to the Committee for review and will be discussed at the next meeting.
