Kungl Whereas the City of Barrie recently experienced an ice storm from March 28, 2025, to March 30, 2025, and has experienced incremental operating and capital costs; Now therefore be it resolved that the Council of the City of Barrie hereby requests the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing to activate the Municipal Disaster Recovery Assistance Program to allow for the City of Barrie to submit a claim for costs associated with the ice storm; and Further that Colleen Smith, Interim Director of Finance, be given delegated authority to verify and attest to the accuracy of the claim.

Whereas the City of Barrie recently experienced an ice storm from March 28, 2025, to March 30, 2025, and has experienced incremental operating and capital costs;
