2026 BUSINESS PLAN AND BUDGET - SERVICE PARTNER - COUNTY OF SIMCOE
Councillor, AM. Kungl declared a potential pecuniary interest on the matter as she is the CEO of Alzheimer's Society of Simcoe County as a service provider and in discussions with a matter involving the County of Simcoe. She did not participate or vote on the matter and rolled her chair away from the Council table.

That motion 25-G-261 of Section “E” of the General Committee Report dated December 3, 2025, concerning the 2026 Business Plan and Budget - Service Partner - County of Simcoe be amended by adding the following paragraph:
“That the County of Simcoe be requested to consider providing annual funding to the Barrie Food Bank in the amount of $106,000.”

That motion 25-G-261 of Section “E” of the General Committee Report dated December 3, 2025 concerning the 2026 business plan and budget - service partner - County of Simcoe be amended by adding the following paragraph:
“That the County of Simcoe’s 2026 operating budget be reduced by $1,671,000 to reflect updated information provided from the County pertaining to children services, and that the County of Simcoe’s 2026 budget be further reduced by lowering the contribution to the County of Simcoe Capital Reserve by $980,000.”
