Kaelynn Demelo advised she was in favour of the sports field stating that being involved in youth sports has had an immense impact on her life. She noted that the addition of this field makes it possible for more children and youth to be able to participate in sports. 3. 5. Paul Milne a local high school teacher and coach advised that he is in favour of the sports field. He outlined concerns relating to teams abilities to host games in current facilities. He suggested that this new facility would provide an opportunity to showcase the sports teams as well as the City.

6. William Scott an Allandale resident spoke in support of moving the Sea Cadets, however, advised that he is not in favour of the proposed location of the sports field. Mr. Scott discussed his concerns associated with the lack of public consultation on the issue and outlined concerns relating to the removal of the trees.

7. Cathy Colebatch advised that she was in favour of the relocation of the Sea Cadets. She suggested that Council should defer the decision with respect to the location of the field.
