TITLE
AWARD PRESENTATION TO THE BARRIE MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION PEEWEE AE2 1 HOCKEY TEAM FOR WINNING THE 2014 ONTARIO MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION CHAMPIONSHIP.
Mr. Eric Snape, Head Coach of the Peewee AE2 1 Hockey Team, thanked the Mayor and Members of Council for taking time to recognize the Team's achievement.
Councillor, D. Shipley on behalf of Council congratulated Mr. Snape on being voted Coach of the Year for the Barrie Minor Hockey Association. Mr. Snape praised the Team for their sportsman like behaviour and noted that sports can take you a long way in life.
On behalf of City Council, Mayor Lehman presented Joey Rampton Coach of the Barrie Minor Pee Wee AE2 1 Hockey Team with a plaque in recognition of the team winning the 2014 Ontario Minor Hockey Association Championship. Mayor Lehman presented certificates and extended congratulations to each of the coaches training staff, and team members, as follows:

In closing, Mayor Lehman recognized the parents of the players from the 3 teams for their behind the scenes contributions, including transportation to early morning practices and funding the players. Mayor Lehman acknowledged the Barrie Minor Hockey League as an incredible hockey association in the City. He congratulated the Teams on winning the Ontario Championships.
