Title: CITY UPDATES Carrie Clark, Barrie Fire and Emergency Service indicated that there have been very few fires reported within the college area. Ms. Clark advised that fire prevention week was coming up, and information will be distributed regarding ‘Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety’ on media sites. Michael Gallagher, Zoning Officer provided the Committee with statistics on complaints called in to the Development Services Department. Jason Forgrave, Supervisor of Enforcement Services updated the Committee on true property standards complaints, including: rental buildings, yard maintenance, the absentee landlord By-law report, Winter Control season, noise complaints, parties at the Foundry, and COVID safety concerns.
