Title: ORIENTATION AND COMPENSATION REVIEW STRATEGY Members of the Council Compensation Review Committee discussed and asked questions of City staff concerning the following: · The ability to review minutes, recommendations and items from the 2017 Council Compensation Review Committee; · Recommendations from the 2017 Committee that were adopted by Council; · Circulation of material required by the Committee to review in advance of the next meeting; · The Committee schedule moving forward and timelines to present recommendations to General Committee; · The current benefits plan and what is covered; and · Feedback from current members of Council, including asking them specific questions such as time spent on committees and Council, and associated compensation. W. Cooke, City Clerk suggested that any agenda item and/or questions regarding future topics for meetings be sent to A. Taylor, Supervisor of Administrative Support Services, and she will ensure that all information is tracked with responses to all members of the Committee.
