Michelle Banfield, Director of Development Services and Madeline Kowalchuk, Senior Planner provided a presentation concerning the City of Barrie Affordable Housing Strategy Update and Policy Options Discussion

Ms. Banfield and Ms. Kowalchuk discussed slides concerning the following topics:

·	An update on the affordable housing strategy, and Phase 2 of the technical review process to review policy options; 
·	A list of ten action items to assist in the development of affordable housing;  
·	Analysis of the ten action items identifying the level of impact, costs and timelines for implementation;
·	A list of thirteen additional initiatives to the action items that can be integrated into the strategy;
·	A summary of the Policy options organized in the four pillars: Policy Reform, Development Initiatives, Leadership, and Advocacy; 
·	The key considerations identified for the affordable housing strategy; and
