Boyd, Parks Horticulture Foreperson informed the Committee of the results from the Communities in Bloom (CIB) Awards night that she attended in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She advised that the City received 5 Blooms Silver in the Large International Category, a close second of just 1.5 marks behind Coquitlam, British Columbia who also received 5 Blooms Silver. Ms. Boyd noted that Judges Alex Pearl and John Lohuis mentioned that the City has a very dedicated team and are leaders in so many areas.
