Loevenmark, Landscape Architectural Planner of the Planning and Asset Management Branch in the Engineering Department provided a presentation regarding a Service Dog Off-Leash Recreation Area (DOLRA) proposed for the Barrie Molson Centre (BMC) as a follow up to Council Motion 16-G-003. TMP-23837 1  Presentation - AC/RCUPDATE FROM THE CITY OF BARRIE’S ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT REGARDING THE PROGRESS/STATUS OF THE TRAILS MASTER PLAN AND THE OUTDOOR RECREATION FACILITIES STUDY T. Reeve, Senior Infrastructure Program Coordinator of the Planning and Asset Management Branch in the Engineering Department provided a presentation regarding the Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Update and the Outdoor Recreation Facility Study (ORFS). Mr. Reeve noted that both of these studies assist City staff to deal with development applications, provide guidance to develop future capital plans and provide input into the development charges background study. Mr. Reeve discussed slides concerning the following topics: Transportation Master Plan Update · An overview of the TMP which outlines the transportation infrastructure required to service growth in the City of Barrie to 2041; · The TMP looks at transportation improvements including: roads, transit, active transportation and rail crossings; · An overview of the Trails Master Plan that provides a foundation for the development of accessible, safe and connect   Action details Not available

Morgan reviewed challenges some residents experience with a lack of accessible change stations in public areas within the City of Barrie particularly at waterfront locations.
