The Committee met and discussed the status of the Youth Ambassadors visit as follows:
Murayama, Japan
J. Gulley provided an update regarding Murayama, Japan. Mr. Gulley advised that preparations are taking place to host a youth delegation comprised of ten youths and two leaders from Murayama, Japan from July 20, 2019 to August 12, 2019.
Zweibrucken, Germany
D. Morrison, Chair provided an update regarding the Global Perspectives Program. Mr. Morrison advised that a youth delegation from the City of Barrie will be traveling to Zweibrücken, Germany between May/June 2019 and that fall, 2019 dates are being finalized for a reciprocal visit for a youth delegation from Germany.

Mr. Sergeant advised that preparations are underway to host the St. John Fisher Music Tour Band from the Borough of Harrogate, North Yorkshire United Kingdom on July 12, 2019 and during their visit there are plans for the Band to play a concert. Mr. Sergeant discussed a potential concert venue for the St. John Fisher Music Tour Band.
