Boyd, Parks Horticulture Foreperson advised that the City of Barrie will be participating in the 2018 National Communities in Bloom Program--Circle of Excellence Category. Ms. Boyd noted that she has not been provided with the names of the judges at this time; however, she will update the Committee when this information becomes available. She advised that judging for the 2018 Communities in Bloom competition in the City of Barrie is scheduled from July 24 to July 26, 2018. The Committee agreed to participate in the Farmers’ Market at City Hall on May 19, 2018 and in the Celebrate Barrie event at Centennial Beach on June 2, 2018.
