TMP-21846 1  Presentation - AC/RCPOSSIBILITY OF A NATIVE PLANT SALVAGE PROGRAM The Committee discussed the possibility of implementing a Native Plant Salvage Program. This Program would include salvaging plants from the natural heritage systems of undeveloped areas in the City and re-locating plants to private and City properties. G. Poisson reviewed the process that would need to be followed to implement such a Program and that discussions concerning the timing would need to be had between staff and developers to ensure a coordinated approach. TMP-21950 1  Presentation - AC/RCPLASTIC BOTTLE POLLUTION The Committee discussed the concerns associated with plastic bottle pollution and the increasing number of littered plastic bottles on land and bodies of water. The Committee reviewed options to reduce plastic bottle pollution. That Committee discussed various methods of communicating its concerns related to this issue to the Provincial Government and MPPs.
