He suggested that the sub-committees should look at ways to reduce their expenditures.

M. Sachkiw provided an update regarding Japan Twinning. Mr. Sachkiw commented that a delegation from the City of Barrie traveled to Murayama, Japan from October 28, 2017 to November 8, 2017 and had an amazing visit. Mr. Sachkiw highlighted that during their visit that Friendship Agreements were signed between the two cities to recognize the relationship.
Councillor B. Ward discussed that he had an amazing time during his visit to Murayama, Japan. Councillor Ward advised that a presentation at the City Council meeting has been scheduled for December 18, 2017 regarding the delegations visit to Murayama, Japan. | Received | |

Zweibrücken, Germany
D. Morrison provided an update regarding the Global Perspectives Program. Mr. Morrison advised that a youth delegation from Zweibrücken, Germany visited the City of Barrie during the Fall, 2018. He highlighted that a youth delegation from the City of Barrie will be traveling to Zweibrücken, Germany during May/June, 2018.
Murayama, Japan
D. Morrison provided an update regarding Murayama, Japan. He advised that there are plans for a youth delegation to travel to Murayama, Japan during summer 2018. Mr. Morrison commented that interviews have been scheduled for the 2018 Youth Leaders.
