Tom Reeve, Senior Infrastructure Planning Program Coordinator provided a presentation concerning an overview on the Drainage Master Plan.
T. Reeve discussed slides concerning the following topics:
· An overview of the Infrastructure Master Plans;
· An illustration identifying the areas where the Infrastructure Master Plans will be utilized;
· The rationale associated with the requirement for a Drainage Master Plan;
· A flow chart summarizing the five phases of the Municipal Class EA Planning and Design Process;
· The definitions of Lot Level and Linear Low Impact Developments (LID) including the benefits and limitations;
· Information associated with conveyance improvements associated to channels, culverts and storm sewers;
· Information associated with existing and new stormwater ponds;
· Opportunities to implement bio-retention facilities and infiltration galleries within existing and new parks and stormwater ponds;
· A map indicating 200 drainage project locations within the City;
