ZONING BY-LAW/OFFICIAL PLAN AMENDMENTS REGARDING SECOND SUITES IN THE GEORGIAN NEIGHBHOURHOOD STUDY BOUNDARY AREA
M. Banfield, Director of Development Services and M. Gallagher, Zoning Officer provided an update regarding the Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments to permit second suites in the Georgian Neighbourhood Study Boundary Area. Ms. Banfield discussed the timelines and communications plan associated with the proposed changes.
The Committee reviewed the Second Suites Declaration and Implementation Plan and they provided feedback to City staff. Ms. Banfield noted that she will provide a status update to the Committee at a future meeting.
The Committee agreed to invite staff from Development Services to a future meeting to further discuss Second Suites Permission in the Georgian Neighbourhood.
