Title: COMMUNITIES IN BLOOM PROJECTS AND IDEAS The Committee suggested the following projects and ideas for the 2018 - 2022 Communities in Bloom Committee: * Continuation of the asphalt pathway on the North Shore Trail; * The possibility of a new official flower for the City; * Encouragement of green roofs on apartments and condominiums; * Vertical gardens and food security; * Education and gardening programs through the City's Recreation Centres; * Multi-season mountain bike and hiking trails; and * Horticultural therapy (educational pathways, emotional and/or spiritual therapy, emotional awareness etc.). The Committee agreed to discuss the project suggestions at a future meeting.
