Suggitt discussed slides concerning the following topics: * An overview of the Sustainable Development Strategy; * An outline of the challenges for the municipality to become sustainable; * The definition of a Sustainable Development Strategy; * The intended purpose for a Sustainable Development Strategy; * A chart illustrating the five navigational points of a Sustainable Barrie; * The goals, actions and measurements to achieve Sustainable Barrie; * The foundation for developing plans and policies for the Corporation; and * The long term plans for the Sustainable Development Strategy. Members of the Committee asked a number of questions to City staff and received responses.
