Title: PRESENTATION - ORIENTATION FOR COMMITTEES W. Cooke, City Clerk/Director of Legislative and Court Services provided a presentation regarding an Orientation for the 2018-2022 Committee Members. Ms. Cooke discussed the following topics: * Council and Committee Code of Conduct; * Municipal Conflict of Interest Act; * City of Barrie Procedural By-law; * Public Notice - Accountability and Transparency; * Meeting Procedures; * Chair, Committee and Staff Responsibilities; * Decision making process; and * Reporting structure for the Community Safety and Well-Being Committee. In closing, Ms. Cooke reviewed the Terms of Reference for the Community Safety and Well-Being Committee including the Committee's mandate, objectives and purpose of the Committee in accordance with the Safer Ontario Act. Also, she provided a brief overview of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Training Booklet. W. Cooke, City Clerk/Director of Legislative and Court Services provided a presentation regarding an Orientation for the 2018-2022 Committee Members.

 

Ms. Cooke discussed the following topics:
