Title: JAPAN TWINNING UPDATE M. Sachkiw provided an update regarding Japan Twinning. Mr. Sachkiw advised that Dave Morrison will be recognized with the 2019 Autumn Imperial Decorations, The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays award from Government of Japan at the City Council meeting scheduled for January 13, 2020. Mr. Sachkiw advised the Consular General of Japan from Toronto, Takako Ito will be in attendance at the City Council meeting on January 13,. 2020 for the award presentation and that there will be a reception to follow the ceremony. The Committee approved the absences of H. Noguchi and G. Johnston from meetings until May, 2020.
