Dr. Charles Gardner, Medical Officer of Health for the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit provided a presentation concerning Public Health in Simcoe Muskoka.  Dr. Gardner discussed slides concerning the following topics:

 

                     The Mission of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU);

                     The 2018 Public Health Standards;

                     The 2019 Board of Health Members;

                     The Vision of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit;

                     The SMHDU’s Strategic Priorities;

Members of Council asked several questions of Dr. Gardner and received responses.
