Title: PRESENTATION BY THE DAVID BUSBY CENTRE CONCERNING THE BUSBY AND COMMUNITY FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS Ms. Sara Peddle, Executive Director of the David Busby Centre provided a presentation entitled "Making room at 88". Ms. Peddle discussed slides concerning the following topics: * The statistics on "Why is the Busby Centre Project Important?"; * The background and timeline for the project; * An overview of the proposed renovations; * Information on the costs associated with housing people while they are homeless; * The current project costs, the funds raised to date and the remaining fundraising needed. Members of Council asked a number of questions of Ms. Peddle and City Staff and received responses. Councillor, J. Harris declared a potential pecuniary interest in the foregoing matter as an immediate family member is an employee of the owner of the building that houses the David Busby Centre.
