Title: ENERGY AND WATER BENCHMARKING PRESENTATION Andy Thomson of the Ontario Association of Architects provided a presentation concerning the 2030 District Standards Program. He noted that this Program is being implemented in partnership with the Canadian Urban Institute. Mr. Thomson discussed the logistics and benefits to municipalities who participate in the Program. Mr. Thomson discussed the following topics: * The background of the 2030 District Standards Program; * Municipalities participating in the Program; * Metrics that can be produced; * Benefits for property owners; * Comparable municipalities to Barrie that are participating in the Program. The Committee asked several questions of the presenter and City staff and received responses.
