Title: AGE FRIENDLY COMMUNITY PLAN UPDATE C. Dillon, Accessibility and Diversity Specialist provided an update concerning the Age Friendly Community Plan. She advised that it is anticipated that a staff report will be going forward to a future General Committee to update the City's Age Friendly Community Action Plan with new goals and targets, legislation changes, changes to Health systems. The Committee discussed ways keep engaged with the community and provide updates on the Community Plan such as an interactive platform similar to BuildingBarrie.ca, re-survey the community to reboot and reach out to more people, stakeholders, and proposed developments in the City, and the possibility of hosting a forum in 2019/2020 or during the month of June for Seniors' Month. Dillon, Accessibility and Diversity Specialist provided an update concerning the Age Friendly Community Plan.  She advised that it is anticipated that a staff report will be going forward to a future General Committee to update the City’s Age Friendly Community Action Plan with new goals and targets, legislation changes, changes to Health systems.
