Title: DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS UNDER REVIEW T. Wierzba, Planner reviewed the minor variance application submitted for 5 Peel Street. The Committee confirmed they had no comments concerning this minor variance application. Councillor C. Riepma provided a brief overview of the City-led application to rezone lands at 9, 11, 13, 15, 19, 21 and 27 Cumberland Street from "Residential Multiple Dwelling - First Density" (RM1) to "Central Area Commercial" (C1-1) zoning standards as part of the Essa Corridor Study. C. Froese provided historical background information regarding Veterans who lived in this Cumberland Street neighbourhood. C. Colebatch advised that in her correspondence to J. Lambie, Senior Urban Design Planner concerning this rezoning application she will reference Veterans who resided in this Cumberland Street neighbourhood. The Committee discussed the potential impact of commercial properties on this section of Cumberland Street.
