Title: HISTORICAL PLAQUES FOR HERITAGE BUILDINGS WITHIN THE CITY OF BARRIE - UPDATE C. Froese provided an update regarding the proposed historical plaque initiative for heritage buildings within the City of Barrie. Mr. Froese brought samples of laminated and metal signage material to obtain the Committee's feedback. He reviewed pricing quotes for the different types of historical signage. The Committee suggested that pricing quotes for historical plaques also be obtained from other local businesses. C. Froese and C. Manewell offered to contact other signage companies in the City for pricing comparisons. T. Wierzba, Planner advised that he would follow up with staff from the Roads, Parks and Fleet Department to obtain quotes for historical plaques if manufactured in-house. The Committee agreed that there should be differences in the size, content and material for historical plaques to distinguish between designated and non-designated properties within the City of Barrie.
