• Title: CYCLING WITHOUT AGE INITIATIVE The Committee discussed the Cycling Without Age Initiative that was introduced at a presentation to the Seniors Advisory Committee on April 29, 2019 by C. Tosh, Age-Friendly Community Project Lead at the County of Simcoe. C. Dillon, Accessibility Coordinator noted that this biking program to increase social participation is an Age-Friendly Simcoe County Initiative for Outdoor Spaces. The Committee decided that it would not take further action regarding the Cycling Without Age Initiative as this initiative may fall under the purview of Long-Term Care Facilities within the City of Barrie. Ms. Dillon advised that she will send correspondence to Long-Term Care (LTC) Facilities in the City of Barrie to inform them of the Cycling Without Age Initiative and provide contact information for the Age-Friendly Community Project Lead at the County of Simcoe.
