INAUGURAL CEREMONY
The Members of the Council-elect, His Worship Dennis White and the Reverend Dr. Susan Eagle were piped into the Council Chamber by Piper, C. Robbins of the Barrie Pipes and Drums.
The National Anthem was performed by Judith Myddleton.
Wendy Cooke, City Clerk/Director of Legislative and Court Services read the Land Acknowledgement.

Ms. Cooke called upon His Worship Dennis White to administer the Declaration of Office for the Mayor-elect.
His Worship White administered the Declaration of Office to Mayor-elect Jeff Lehman for the Office of Mayor. His Worship Wilson placed the Chain of Office on Mayor Lehman.
Ms. Cooke called upon His Worship Dennis White to administer the Declaration of Office for the Councillors-elect representing Ward One through Ten.
His Worship White administered the Declaration of Office to all Councillors-elect.
Ms. Cooke announced that the new Council of The Corporation of the City of Barrie had been officially organized.
Ms. Cooke thanked His Worship White for his assistance with the inaugural meeting.
