DEPUTATION BY CATHY COLEBATCH REGARDING MOTION 18-G-180, CULTURE HERITAGE STRATEGY

Ms. Cathy Colebatch provided a deputation in opposition to motion 18-G-180 regarding the Cultural Heritage Strategy. Ms. Colebatch advised that while she is pleased to see a Cultural Heritage Strategy moving forward, she believes there are several areas that need to be further addressed. She indicated her concern about Item #2 in the recommendation going forward without additional funding and resources. Ms. Colebatch also expressed her concerns about the City not having a good inventory of century homes and demolitions that are permitted without a plan for redevelopment.
