R. Meier provided an update regarding the 2017 Accessibility Arts Awards. Mr. Meir commented that Lenora Husveti-Frenette is the first recipient of the 2017 Barrie Arts Award “Artist with Barriers”  R. Meier indicated that Ms. Husveti-Frenette was very excited and shocked to have have won the award.
