Title: SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM GOALS AND OBJECTIVES The Committee discussed the short-term and long-term goals and objectives for the Sport Events/Facilities Advisory Committee, such as promoting the Committee and investigating sporting venues that the City can accommodate, and how the Committee can assist the sporting organizations for promotion of events/tournaments. The Committee noted that it would be beneficial to provide service groups and sporting organizations with information to assist them in bringing upcoming sporting events/tournaments to the City. The Committee suggested inviting staff from Access Barrie to a future meeting to discuss options of promoting the Committee.
