Mr. Rankin discussed slides concerning the following topics: · Maps illustrating the areas in the City Emerald Ash Borer was detected from 2014 to 2017; · A map illustrating the areas that Ash Trees were removed in 2018; · Aerial photographs of various parks throughout the City illustrating healthy vs. non-healthy forestry issues; · An aerial photograph illustrating the City’s 2018 Forest Health Survey; · An update and drawings illustrating the Arboretum Master Plan; · The status and process of the Climate Change Strategy; · Aerial photographs illustrating the Urban Forest Canopy Assessment; and · A look forward to 2019 for the Urban Forest Master Plan.
