He commented that City Council should be proud of those who make the program successful. Herr Mattias Eifler, Vice-Principal of Helmost Gymnasium, Zweibrucken Germany spoke on behalf of the delegation. He wished Canada a belated 150th birthday and discussed the benefit and value of the exchange program. Herr Eifler thanked the German and Canadian families who support the program. He also thanked City Council for their support of the exchange program and stated that he cherishes the relationship between the two cities. Herr Mattias presented a gift to Mayor Lehman on behalf of the delegation.
