Fisher, President of the Barrie Historical Association, reviewed correspondence from the Barrie Historical Association dated October 24, 2017 regarding the installation of a heritage plaque in Kempenfelt Park to honour Sir James Gowan. Mr. Fisher explained that the Barrie Historical Association is requesting financial support from private donors in the amount of $2,500.00 for the remaining cost of this project.
