Suggitt discussed slides concerning the following topics: · An overview of the Sustainable Development Strategy; · An outline of the challenges for the municipality to become sustainable; · The definition of a Sustainable Development Strategy; · The intended purpose for a Sustainable Development Strategy; · A chart illustrating the five navigational points of a Sustainable Barrie; · The goals, actions and measurements to achieve Sustainable Barrie; · The foundation for developing plans and policies for the Corporation; and · The long term plans for the Sustainable Development Strategy.
