The Committee discussed the possibility of salvaging native plants in areas scheduled for development. Mr. Geri Poisson explained the process of salvaging native plants and replanting them in a new location. Mr. Poisson noted that he was in contact with Developers in two new development areas and was advised that unfortunately they weren’t in a position to be able to participate in salvaging the plants at this time. Mr. Poisson advised that he would report back to the Committee once further information became available.
