B. Sergeant provided an update regarding the Sir Robert Barrie Project. Mr. Sergeant commented that both Jean Maurice Pigeon and himself provided a presentation to École Secondaire Roméo Dallaire School concerning Sir Robert Barrie which included the reproduction of the painting of His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS). He noted that the Sir Robert Barrie Committee does still have a few more schools in Barrie to present reproductions of the paintings. Mr. Sergeant advised that the representatives of the Sir Robert Barrie Committee provided a presentation to City Council on November 4, 2019 concerning the painting of His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS).
