Title: YOUTH AMBASSADORS UPDATE The Committee met and discussed the status of the Youth Ambassadors visits as follows: Zweibrücken, Germany J. Babcock provided an update regarding the Global Perspectives Program. Mr. Babcock discussed that a youth delegation from the City of Barrie will be traveling to Zweibrücken, Germany for a month beginning on May 24, 2018. Mr. Babcock invited the Committee to attend “Global Presents” at Innisdale Secondary School on May 22, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. He advised that the event will showcase the students’ works from the semester. Mr. Babcock advised that the youth delegation through the Global Perspectives Program traveled to Cuba in April, 2018 Murayama, Japan D. Morrison, Chair provided an update regarding Murayama, Japan. Mr. Morrison advised that twelve youths from the City of Barrie have been selected to travel to Murayama, Japan from August 16 to August 30, 2018. Mr. Morrison announced that the adult leaders for the youth delegation will be Paul Dunn and Lea Lawson.
