Hewitt provided an update regarding Murayama, Japan. Ms. Hewitt commented that a youth delegation from Murayama, Japan recently visited the City of Barrie from July 28, 2017 to August 9, 2017 and had a great visit. Ms. Hewitt noted that she has received a number of applications of interest from youth for future youth ambassador exchanges. Zweibrucken, Germany D. Morrison provided an update regarding the Global Perspectives Program. Mr. Morrison commented that the youth delegation from the City of Barrie who traveled to Zweibrücken, Germany in May/June, 2017 had a wonderful time during their stay. Mr. Morrison advised that a youth delegation from Zweibrücken, Germany arrived on September 14, 2017 and will be visiting the City of Barrie for a month.
