Y Gallo, Executive Director of the Community Wholeness Centre (CWC) introduced community members who shared testimonials of their experiences at the CWC.  Ms. Gallo provided a presentation regarding Independent Living Centres.

Ms. Gallo discussed slides concerning the following topics:

·	The CWC has identified gaps in community services as there are limited Independent Living Centres in Barrie and Simcoe County;
·	The CWC is actively pursuing accreditation and membership with the National Umbrella of Independent Living Canada;
·	The request for a letter from the City of Barrie’s Accessibility Advisory Committee in support of the CWC’s completion of a feasibility study and strategic plan;
·	A chart illustrating CWC’s current and projected operating budget;
·	The statistics regarding the number of people served by CWC between 2014 and 2018 and the levels of service provided;
·	An overview of the types of programs that the CWC currently offers and the potential future programs; and
