The Committee suggested the following projects and ideas for the 2018 - 2022 Communities in Bloom Committee:  

·	Continuation of the asphalt pathway on the North Shore Trail;
·	The possibility of a new official flower for the City;
·	Encouragement of green roofs on apartments and condominiums;
·	Vertical gardens and food security;
·	Education and gardening programs through the City’s Recreation Centres;
·	Multi-season mountain bike and hiking trails; and
·	Horticultural therapy (educational pathways, emotional and/or spiritual therapy, emotional awareness etc.).

The Committee agreed to discuss the project suggestions at a future meeting.</description><pubDate>Thu, 08 Feb 2024 16:46:31 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
