Title: YOUTH AMBASSADORS UPDATE The Committee met and discussed the status of the Youth Ambassadors visits as follows: Murayama, Japan D. Morrison, Chair provided an update regarding Murayama, Japan. Mr. Morrison advised that preparations are underway for a youth delegation from Murayama, Japan to visit the City of Barrie from July 29, 2019 to August 10, 2019. Mr. Morrison advised that he will provide the Committee with a copy of the youth delegation’s itinerary. Mr. Morrison commented that preparations are underway to host a Goodbye Party for the Japan youth delegation at the Southshore Community Centre, August 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Mr. Morrison invited the Committee to attend this event. The Committee approved expenditures of funds from the International Relations Committee cost centre #1026 660200 for an amount not to exceed $8,000.00 for costs associated with hosting the youth delegation from Murayama, Japan from July 29, 2019 to August 10, 2019.
